If you are graduating in May and haven’t started your job search, NOW is the time to begin! Many companies have already extended offers for full-time employment, so if you haven’t been applying or interviewing for jobs, contact Career Services asap to find out how you can learn about jobs that are available. Yesterday it was announced that a cross-section of surveyed U.S. employers “expect to hire nearly 22% fewer graduates from the Class of 2009” than they hired from the Class of 2008. This is the first time in a decade that companies haven’t reported a positive hiring projection, so we encourage you to start applying now so you aren’t one of the graduates who gets caught without a job!
