Summer financial aid and work study information is online at www.dsu.edu/financial-aid (click on the Summer link). Applications are available online and in the Financial Aid Office in Heston Hall. Remember you will need to be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible for summer loans. Priority date for work study is April 10th, but this is not a deadline. More information on jobs available will be coming soon. To determine summer aid eligibility, including work study, you will need to have submitted your 2009-10 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and completed the verification process if selected. We will begin sending summer/fall/spring award letters in April and continuing throughout the summer. Please contact our office at

REMINDER: Summer loans reduce your fall/spring loan eligibility as there are annual loan limits. Summer work study does not impact fall/spring work study. Pell Grants are also available in the summer to eligible students. |
