Are you an artist or have a creative side?? How would you like to get recognized for .your creativity by having your work displayed around campus?? The Health Info Mgmt (HIM) Club is looking for creatively designed posters to put up around campus to honor our upcoming Health Information Privacy and Security Week (HIPS Week) celebration. HIPS Week is invaluable awareness event, held April 12 through 18, assures our communities that professionals in the health information management field take extraordinary measures to put health information in the right hands and keep it there. Health information management and technology professionals work diligently throughout the year to ensure valuable information is only available to those who need it and no one else. It’s more than a commitment. It’s a mission, and it’s essential to maintaining the trust of the people and communities served. It’s a cause celebrated and reconfirmed each year during Health Information Privacy and Security Week. The HIM Club is looking for creative posters that reflect this year's theme “Protecting Information—It’s a Top Priority” Students should try to incorporate this year's theme into their poster. Entries should include the event being celebrated (HIPS Week) and when this celebration takes place (April 12-18). Entries should be created using a computer program and submitted through an email attachment. The winner of the contest will receive a $10 DSU bookstore gift certificate. The winning poster and runner-up entries will be displayed in the Spectrum lounge of the TC and various buildings around campus during HIPS Week.
