Have you considered participating in a study abroad program or an internship this summer? If you'd like to combine these experiences, we hope that you'll apply for a Washington Center intern abroad program in one of four exciting cities--London, England, Oxford, England, Quebec City, Canada or Sydney, Australia.
Students interning abroad through The Washington Center during summer 2009 will attend a brief seminar which introduces them to the U.S. capital and their destination city prior to flying off to the U.K., Australia or Canada. There they will intern full-time in a tailored placement, complete academic course work and participate in programming activities as well as have the opportunity to travel. They'll learn to appreciate another culture and expand their knowledge of our increasingly global world. If you'd like to enroll in one of these programs, you should submit an application through our online system before our deadline of February 27.
