Motorcycles can be parked in the end corner of a parking zone (where a car or truck could not fit in.) DO NOT PARK IN HANDICAP OR A LOADING ZONE. (This includes IN FRONT of a garbage dumpster.) Scooters/mopeds will be towed to the Physical Plant if parked in handicap or loading zones. The Physical Plant considers scooters as a motorized vehicle and request all scooters to be parked in the parking areas same as motorcycles. NO SCOOTERS SHOULD BE ON THE SIDEWALKS OR GRASS. Do not park by the front door of a university building or bike rack. Scooters parking is available in the south west corner of the Library Lot. If you are student parking on campus – you need to be parking in the student blue or green zones and have tags displayed on the lower corner of the windshield on the driver’s side. VISITOR PARKING IS FOR OUR VISITORS AND is only HALF HOUR parking. The parking policies can be found in the student handbook and at http://www.departments.dsu.edu/hr/newsite/policies/018000.htm. Any questions or concern with parking can be referred to the Physical Plant at 256-5222. |
