The agency is new this year and is off the ground and running. We have many clients looking for great design and effective advertisements. We are in need for a proof reader, a web programmer or designer, as well as anyone interested in business and marketing. We will also accept anyone interested in designing and working on projects. The agency also does guest speakers, agency tours, as well as an upcoming portfolio review. If you are concerned about finding a job in these current economic times, we have some good news for you! The list of businesses coming to DSU this semester for on-campus interviews has been finalized. We have 20 businesses scheduled to interview here at DSU. There are also five businesses that have scheduled information sessions. Please check out the blue posters that are hung throughout campus to see the name and dates. Four summer staff positions/internships are available with the SD Farmers Union Foundation. To qualify, applicants must be at least 19 with one year of college completed, valid driver’s license, with a preferred knowledge of agriculture or background in farming/ranching. The position applies to education majors, child development majors, and agriculture majors; however, it is not limited to those areas. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2009. Information and applications are available in the Office of Career Services, 206 Heston Hall. |

The DSU Pool League will be holding a meeting for all people interested in playing this semester This meeting will be held to explain playing days and times. We will also go over the basic set of league rules and how scoring works. Any student interested in playing should mail me with questions or show up at the meeting. Meeting time is Thursday January 22 at 7PM in the gameroom. Please attend if you plan on playing as this will give us a general idea of numbers and a mailing list for the league. |

The Langley Aerospace Research Summer Scholars (LARSS) Program is offering a 10-week summer internship and a 15-week fall and/or internship program. The LARSS provides hands-on paid research experiences for qualified undergraduate and graduate students (juniors and above) on-site at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. |
